Mountain Home Military Member Dies

MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho - An 34 year old Airman assigned to the 366th Fighter Wing died at approximately 7 p.m. Nov. 15.

Tech. Sgt. Damon D. Robinson, from the 366th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, was found unresponsive at his home in Mountain Home, and transported to the Elmore County Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

"Sergeant Robinson was a valued member of our Gunfighter team," said Col. John Bird, 366th FW commander. Sergeant Robinson's passing is a huge loss for the Air Force and Mountain Home Air Force Base. Megan and I send our sincere condolences to his family and friends."

The Lancaster, Calif., native leaves behind a wife and two sons.

An investigation of his death is currently ongoing.
