Idaho AD Skips Flight in BSU-Themed Plane

Just days before the Idaho Vandals make the trip to the City of Trees to take on BSU in Bronco Stadium, University of Idaho Athletic Director Rob Spear had to make some last minute travel plans. Spear refused to board a flight from Lewiston to Boise, when he found out it was Horizon Air’s newest plane, a Boise State themed aircraft. The University of Idaho tells us Spear chose to drive to Spokane for a different flight to Boise. Horizon Air unveiled the new plane just this week. The BSU paint job cost the airline about $20,000. The airline also has planes decked out in school colors for Washington State, the University of Washington, the University of Oregon, and Oregon State University.
