LEWISTON, Idaho (AP) - Firefighters are investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed a Lewiston home, leaving six renters without a permanent place to live.

The Lewiston Tribune reports all six residents were able to escape the Sunday blaze unharmed. Home owner Dani Diaz, who lives in a second house on the property, says investigators are looking to see if a faulty furnace or electrical system caused the fire.
