JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) - Yellowstone National Park officials will use $4.68 million in federal stimulus money to replace a 50-year-old wastewater treatment facility at Madison Junction.

Park spokesman Al Nash says the current 35,000-gallon system built in 1959 wasn't designed to operate year-round or handle the increased number of park visitors.

He says the new facility will help reduce the risk of environmental contamination at its location near the Madison River.

Dick Anderson Construction of Bozeman, Mont., was awarded the contract to put in the new facility.
