POST FALLS, Idaho (AP) - Authorities say they have arrested a Rathdrum woman suspected of embezzling more than $450,000 from a medical clinic in Post Falls.
Post Falls Police Chief Scot Haug says 36-year-old Yolanda M. Williams was arrested Monday. Haug says she was arrested as part of an investigation into forgery and online theft at Post Falls Family Medicine.
The Coeur d'Alene Press reports Williams is being held in the Kootenai County Jail and is expected to make her initial appearance in 1st District Court Tuesday.
Investigators say fraudulent withdrawals were detected dating back to July 2003, and as much as $451,000 has been stolen from the clinic in the last six years.
