The line was flowing out the doors and into the parking lot at the former Sportsman's Warehouse building in Nampa. People of all ages were there to get the swine flu vaccine.

"We opened at 11:00 people started showing up here at 7:00 A.M," said Bruce Crosch, Director of Southwest District Health.

Southwest District Health had 48 workers on hand who gave out more than 2,200 swine flu shots or nasal mists. The vaccines were given out on a first come first serve basis. Officials with Southwest District Health say the knew demand would be big.

"We've been getting a ton of phone calls the last few days knowing this facility would be available and this vaccine would be here," said Crosch.

The people who gave up thier Saturday mornings and had to wait in line say it was worth it, In order to protect themselves and their families from the H1N1 virus.

"Our neice and newphew just got over swine flu, they were sick for a really long time and we didn't want the kids to get it," said Sascha Marston, who brought in her family for vaccinations.

"I have a 2 and a half year old grandson and I get to see him quite a bit so i don't want to give him anything," said Linda Bartholomew.
