Boise Teacher Arrested For Obscene Conduct

A Boise math teacher is pulled out of the classroom and faces serious charges.

Court documents show Kyle Cameron Dennis faces multiple counts of obscene conduct, two incidents in June of 2009 and one incident in February of 2009.

Boise Police says the first incident was reported in May.

Court documents also show Dennis knowingly engaged in obscene conduct before an audience consisting of at least one person in a public place.

They say Dennis walked in different Boise box stores with an erection.

Dennis's neighbors were shocked to hear the charges.

"Yes, are you sure you have the right Mr. Dennis? That would totally surprise me," says Frances Pederson.

Dennis taught math at Capital High School since 1996 and coached basketball for the past three years.

He was placed on paid administrative leave pending results from the investigation.
