A Boise man, reported missing earlier this week, is found safe.

Searchers in Valley County found the 52-year-old Thursday and say he is in pretty good shape.

The man left for a hike Monday in the Pistol Creek area, just east of Cascade and was supposed to return on Tuesday.

Investigators are not releasing the man's name.
