TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) - The Federal Highway Administration plans a public meeting Tuesday in Hagerman to discuss potential construction of a tower under a nationwide program to enhance use of global positioning technology.
The highway administration says it wants to hear from the public about issues related to the possible construction of a tower on federal land off U.S. 26 west of Bliss. The meeting is scheduled for 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Snake River Grill in Hagerman.
A report from the highway administration says the nationwide program would add 67 stations to enhance global positioning technology for public and private purposes.
