MURPHY, Idaho (AP) - Gary L. Pearson, of Nampa, apparently became lost while on a drive in the Owyhee Mountains of southwestern Idaho but has been found safe after spending two night missing.
Family members feared the worst after Pearson didn't turn up following his Friday evening drive.
The 58-year-old's brief disappearance prompted a search that included members of the Owyhee County Sheriff's Department as well as a plane owned by a family friend.
Pearson, a real estate salesman, finally was able to contact family members via cell phone on Sunday morning and tell them he was near Silver City.
